Truth crushed to earth will always rise like the Phoenix.  During the NBA allstar festivities in Las Vegas about a year ago I was hanging with some friends & the subject of Rick Ross came up.  Some of them happen to be affiliated with a particular red organization.  One of the cats who was incarcerated in Florida swore up & down that the Miami rapper Rick Ross was his correctional officer.   I didn't doubt the homie's statement at all & I even mentioned what the brother said on my radio show about a year ago. Recently there have been pictures spreading around the web with Rick Ross in his correctional officers uniform.   In Rick Ross's debut hit song "Hustlin" he says he knows the "real" Noreiga (Manuel Noriega) and he probably does.  He was probably his correctional officer & may have done him "A hundred favors".  Although Rick Ross may have been a correctional officer it still doesn't mean that he doesn't have ties to figures in the underworld.  Things are not always what they seem in any direction & on any side of the law.  However the image that he's presenting to the world is faker than a $3 dollar bill. This reminds me of the final scene in the movie "Hustle & Flow" when the correctional officers handed a demo to Terrence Howard's character in hopes of getting a record deal.
