Things are definitely changing in the world so much so that as a relatively normal hetero person you wonder if you're now the odd one these days. Check out this new song "I Used To Love Her" from an artist called Shire first spotted at Blogxilla. Initially I thought she would be talking about how she used to love R&B music in a similar way to Common's "I Used To Love Her" talked about his love of Hip Hop. We were most definitely wrong about that once we got through the first minute or so of the video.

Shire is signed to Universal Records which is a major record label & it's not usual for a major label to take a risk like this. But then again many movers & shakers in the music industry are gay or lesbian anyway so maybe that would explain them taking a chance on an artist like Shire. Has the game changed so much now that artists will start coming out & singing about the love of the same sex? Don't know if I'm personally ready for that, but this girl can definitely sing. Here in Atlanta we're sure there is an audience for what she's doing with the large number of bisexual females out here. Hopefully the male R&B artists WON'T venture out like this but if they did it's not like I listen to alot of radio & television anyway. It is what it is.
